A type of crystal used with a projectile unit. It can often be used within a flare or laser gun with the proper attachments to shoot deadly crystals infused with Source or Voyana that will explode on impact, shredding the target from the inside.  |  Common

Emergency Portal

 

 

A teleportation hole opened and maintained without anchoring the edges to a solid object to keep it from closing while someone is passing through. This is a delicate and dangerous method, and only those who pass through rigorous training are allowed to use it. If misused, it could result in the membrane closing on a person, resulting in injury or even death.  |  Common

 

 

Emergency Portal Unit

 

 

These units are used by individuals who cannot create portals on their own; they open the rifts in the realm’s membrane to allow people to traverse the realms.  |  Common

 

 

Energy Manipulation

 

 

An ability to manipulate, control, sever, or connect Voyana or another’s Source in various ways. The most common use of this technique is to create access stones or summoning stones. The most skilled and famous person in this field is Artemis Alamir.  |  Common

Flare Gun †

 

 

A contraption similar in shape to Earth’s pistol. However, it does not shoot physical projectiles; instead, it gathers the owner’s Source and mixes it with Voyana in a way where it will explode in mid-air regardless of the user’s Source level or experience. The explosion is relatively harmless and often used as a distress signal.  |  Common
