There have even been times that a morphing charm has killed shapeshifters because particular organs or bones shifted the wrong way and inflicted a fatal wound on the victim. | Common

A Common phrase for Voyana and/or Source. It is one of the smallest units of matter in existence. | Common

A type of illusion that distorts the air to make it look different than what it actually is. Most people are subject to optical illusions; it takes place in the physical world. | Common

A type of mind-weaving that involves making the subject see what is not actually there. Only the subject of this technique can see the illusion; everyone else will see what is true. | Common

Shadow Child. | Add’l Notes: The child is created through preprogrammed Source and can bind DNA together. Even after a successful procedure and the child has the DNA of both parents, it will still be different from normal children. | Xharos
Phan’stra Pill
A medicine created several thousand years’ prior to help Alkinians produce offspring when otherwise it was impossible. It was deemed an illegal method only five years after its release because of people misusing it and not following proper procedures. | Xharos
Phase-Step
A method of movement by increasing leg strength and speed by running Source (and potentially Voyana) through one’s limbs. Individuals who have been trained in the tactical field often have this basic ability. | Common

A Common term used when Carni’s Will offers to cure an amnesiac of their lost memories; most of the time, the realm Carni harbors no ill will against people who wander within it, and will do this to help their odds of survival. | Common

A vehicle on Alkina that is solar-powered and runs on magnetic tracks; comparable to Earth’s motorcycles, but much more advanced. | Xharos

A medicine commonly used in oral medications for Hemius patients. It targets foreign substances and puts a barrier between it and the patient's blood supply; too much can cause blood clots and seizures. | Saheian-Xharos

Rift
A large tear in a realm’s membrane; oftentimes, Highlords or Corridor Travelers will fix it. It can be dangerous if left unchecked since rifts can lead anywhere. They are sometimes called Void Rifts if the rift actually leads to the Void. | Common

Dark as in darkness; state of being. Can also mean the side that does not receive sunlight. | Xharos
